I adore the beauty in this film. One of the most beautiful parts is the women and the way they are dressed. Rarely anymore, now that stars dress themselves instead of studio stylists doing, do we see the elegance, beauty, and sophistication of the Hollywood fashions of that era. Slutiness and drama has replaced itin what passes for fashion today - and don't get me started about the poor quality of the sewing on most clothing now. Absolutely lovely! Kim Bassinger never looked better, even in Batman. (She has not worked much since this roll. Pity.)
